Services to Support Children

For the one per cent of children in the UK with a severe language disorder, everyday life can be a battle. I CAN is here for them.

Children with severe language disorder wrestle with the challenge of articulating themselves and making themselves heard. Activities such as playing with their friends, asking a question in class or telling their parents how they feel can be a struggle. I CAN is here for them.

We run two outstanding special schools - Meath in Surrey and Dawn House in Nottinghamshire – that are at the core of our efforts to support children with severe and complex speech, language and communication needs.

Meath is one of few schools in the UK purely for primary aged children with speech, language and communication needs, including high-functioning autism and associated difficulties.
