Talk for Work Phases 1-3 and Course Reviews 

These 4 PowerPoint presentations go with the 13 lessons in the programme.

• Phase 1 (lesson 1-4) introduces students to the programme and to communication skills
• Phase 2 (lessons 5-8) builds on this, preparing students to deliver the Practice Workshop.
• Phase 3 (lessons 9-12) builds further, preparing students to deliver the Employers’ Workshop.
• A final Lesson 13 reviews the course and student learning

Employers’ workshop

Talk For Work Profile 

Here you will find all the resources you need to complete the Talk for Work Profile.

Webcast

We have developed a 40 minute webcast to support you to use the profile. The webcast contains video clips and key points to remember when working with a student to complete the profile. We really recommend that you watch the webcast before completing the profile.

Online Tracker

Once you have completed the profile with students you can input their scores into the Speech and Language UK Online Tracker. From here you can download and print colour coded graphs. If you want to measure the students’ progress over time, or before and after they participate in an intervention you can complete the profile more than once and input both sets of scores on to the tracker.
