We are Speech and Language UK (formerly I CAN) – we want every child to face the future with confidence. For 1.7 million children in the UK learning to talk and understand words feels like an impossible hurdle. We want to reach children earlier to make sure every child has the skills to face the future. We design innovative tools and training for nursery staff and teachers, give families the confidence and skills to help their child and put pressure on politicians to prioritise support for children.
Are you passionate about Early Years practice? Do you want to be part of an exciting programme that supports Early Years Practitioners (EYPs) to improve the life chances of young children?
We’re thrilled to be working with the Education Development Trust (EDT) to deliver Phase 3 of the Early Years Professional Development Programme (EYPDP). EYPs receive training in three learning modules Communication and Language, early Mathematics and Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED).
