Job title:             Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Location:            Dawn House, a Speech and Language UK School, Helmsley Road, Rainworth, Nottinghamshire, NG21 0DQ

Salary:                 £35,932 to £37,751 per annum depending on experience

Contract:            Permanent, full time (35 hours a week), term time plus three weeks during school closure periods

We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who thrives on working collaboratively to help young people achieve their true potential. You will be responsible for

  • Effectively managing a caseload of pupils withing a school setting
  • Contributing to the development of the school and Speech and Language UK
  • Supporting and providing clinical support and supervision to Speech and Language Therapists and Speech and Language Therapy Assistants
  • Developing the work of the Speech and Language Therapists within the therapy team

Dawn House in Rainworth near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire is an outstanding day and residential non-maintained school which provides intensive and specialist support for children and young people aged 5 -19 years who have severe speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and Asperger’s Syndrome. Pupils receive the integrated therapy and education that they need, ensuring they receive full access to the national curriculum.
