Become a certified Mental Health First Aider
Are you looking to expand your skillset? One of our specialist schools, Dawn House , is offering you an exciting opportunity to become a certified Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
MHFA England aims for 1 in 10 people to have an awareness of Mental Health and how we can support someone experiencing mental health difficulties.
This course will equip you with the essential skills you’ll need to be empowered to support people when they need it most.
We have select dates throughout the year with courses for supporting adults or children and young people. The courses are over two days and take place virtually via Zoom. Each delegate must attend the two full days of the course.
📅 The dates for academic year 2025-2026 are as follows:
Supporting children and young people:
- Day one Wednesday, 19th November; day two Wednesday, 26th November
- Day one Wednesday, 12th March; day two Wednesday 19th March
- Day one Wednesday 1st July; day two Wednesday, 8th July
Supporting adults:
- Day one Wednesday, 8th October; day two Wednesday, 15th October
- Day one Wednesday, 4th February; day two Wednesday, 11th February
- Day one Wednesday, 13th May; day two Wednesday, 20th May
The course costs £325 per delegate but we are delighted to offer this course at the reduced price of £200 per delegate. Includes a workbook, manual, and 3 years of access to MHFA resources.
