Fundraising could not be easier, follow the simple steps below to set up an online fundraiser of your choice!
How to set up a Facebook fundraiser
Head over to our Facebook page and click on fundraisers.
To create your own fundraiser click on raise money, or scroll down to check out the amazing people already fundraising for us!
Edit your details, dates and target. We suggest starting your fundraiser a few weeks before to give everyone enough time to donate.
Add your photo and story, tell everyone why you’re supporting Speech and Language UK.
Review, click create and you’re good to go!
Don’t forget to share, share, share! You never know who you could reach – your neighbour’s dog sitter, your uncles guitar teacher – spreading the word about your fundraiser gives you a higher chance of reaching more people and receiving more donations for an incredible cause!
When your fundraiser has ended, Facebook will send all your donations straight to us and you don’t need to lift a finger!

Share a fundraiser on your Instagram stories and posts. You could even do this on a live video while training for an event or telling viewers why you’re fundraising.
Add a donation sticker to your story so your followers can simply tap the sticker to donate.💙
How to set up a JustGiving page
Create an account on JustGiving or login to your account. Then click start fundraising.
When asked if you are fundraising for a registered charity, click yes and search for Speech and Language UK.
Our registered charity number is 210031.
Add information about the event you are doing.
Can’t find your event on the list? Click add your own at the bottom of the page.
Choose your url/shareable link address – make this easy to understand as this is what you’ll share with family and friends for them to donate!
Tick ‘Yes’ if you’re running a bake sale, or selling tickets to an event, raffle or auction. Donations to your Page won’t be eligible for Gift Aid.
Create your page and share it far and wide!
The more people who see your fundraiser, the better it will be.
