Maths Teacher

Full time, permanent contract working term time.

We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly effective teaching team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths teacher to support students working at Entry Level, with the potential to teach a small GCSE group. The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to teach additional subjects, including Science, and contribute to our vocational curriculum, helping to create new and engaging opportunities for our students.

The position is primarily to teach within our Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 cohort, but there may be opportunities to teach in other areas of the school.

We are flexible regarding the experience of individuals wishing to apply for this role and understand it may appeal to staff from a Primary, Secondary, SEN and Post-16 background. We have a staff team built from a range of educational experiences.

At Dawn House School, we prioritise a personalised, engaging, and supportive learning experience, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of therapists and teaching assistants. This role offers the chance to develop innovative teaching approaches and contribute to a forward-thinking curriculum

This job description incorporates the professional duties of a teacher as set out in the Teacher’s standards. The purpose of the job is to manage and ensure the effective delivery for all educational programmes for students placed at Dawn House School, in line with all statutory requirements and Speech and Language UK policies and procedures.
