Role Overview:
Are you a recent school leaver with GSCEs in Maths and English C or above? Are you passionate about digital marketing and eager to kickstart a career in this dynamic field? Are you looking in developing your skills in house as well as studying towards a professional, nationally recognised qualification?
As a Digital Assistant Apprentice, you will support our digital marketing efforts across social media, email marketing, content creation, and more. This position offers a hands-on learning experience, enabling you to build skills essential for a career in digital marketing.
Apprentices work on the job within a charity whilst receiving 20% off the job training from current industry experts. The training sessions are virtual classrooms via Zoom. Apprentices also receive the on-the-job training and coaching in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media & Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content for our social media channels, including paid digital ads.
- Website and Blog Content: Craft compelling content and edit existing materials for our website and blog.
- Email Marketing: Design email templates and create effective email marketing content.
- Campaign Support: Contribute to digital marketing plans and campaign development.
- Market Analysis: Assist with competitor and sector analysis to inform our strategies.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on trends in digital marketing and bring fresh ideas to the team.
What we are looking for:
- A passion for digital marketing and content creation.
- Experience with social media platforms, Canva, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Entry Requirements:
- Candidates must have a grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English
- Candidates must not hold a higher qualification in the relevant field, e.g., a degree in Digital Marketing
