Your experience matters: Take part in our new family and young people survey

March 14, 2024

Does your child struggle with talking and understanding words? If so, we need your help.

We want to know what life is like for the 1.9 million children and young people who face challenges with talking and understanding words.

Siouxsie is 18-years-old and lives with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). She shared with us:

‘DLD does not disappear when you get older. Life actually gets much harder. You are meant to suddenly be independent.’

We want to be able to support young people like Siouxsie and their families, but first we need to need to understand their experience.

That’s why we are launching a crucial new family and young person survey to inform our future campaigns and help make sure all children have access to the support they need.

If you are a family member or young person with speech and language challenges, we want to hear about your experience.

If you work with family members and young people with speech and language challenges, please share this survey with them and help us reach as many people as possible.
