Job Title: Facilities Support Administrator
Location: Meath, a Speech and Language UK school, Ottershaw, Near Woking, Surrey
Salary: Actual starting from £15,691 for 24 hours per week up to £20,921 for 32 hours per week / £13,47 per hour (£24,519 FTE)
Working pattern: Permanent, Part Time (minimum of 24 hours per week, salary pro rated accordingly), Term time plus 3 weeks worked flexibly during school closure periods per year.

Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a reliable and diligent Facilities Support Administrator with a collaborative work ethic. This role will support the Premises Manager to maintain exceptional compliance records and ensure the safe running of the school site. This role is also “hands on” and will involve some site maintenance tasks, please see the job description for more details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Premises Manager in ensuring the school premises are safe, well-maintained, and operational.
- Maintain compliance records for statutory requirements (e.g., health and safety tests, compliance and contractor documents).
- Collaborate with the team to handle maintenance requests through the Smartlog system.
- Liaise with contractors for planned works and ensure risk assessments are up-to-date.
- Assist in preparing reports for governance purposes, such as tracking health and safety audits.
- Support management of school facility lettings, including communicating with hirers for the gym and swimming pool
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working in a school environment desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in Health and Safety and maintaining compliance records desirable.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and works proactively to resolve site issues brought to their attention in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate experience and IT skills to improve efficiency within the site team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety, hygiene procedures and precautions.
- Awareness of COSHH regulations, applying knowledge gained as appropriate.
